I’m Marquise Pleasant, a filmmaker passionate about merging martial arts and cinematic storytelling. Growing up in the DMV, I dreamed of becoming a film director. My filmmaking journey began with Silent Action Productions, where I explored action filmmaking and fight choreography, inspired by my love for dynamic, visual storytelling.

As a deaf filmmaker, I rely on my eyes as my guide, bringing a unique perspective to every project. I focus on capturing the art of filmmaking through powerful visuals, camera movement, and choreography. My expertise lies in fight choreography, VFX, and visual storytelling, allowing me to create action-packed, engaging films.

Currently, I’m training in martial arts, learning from legends, and striving to bring the spirit of those teachings into my work. My goal is to continue pushing the boundaries of action filmmaking and to collaborate with like-minded creators who are passionate about telling bold, dynamic stories.
